For those of us Church mice who don't have an iPad, Amazon.com is offering
their Kindle reading apps - free. It allows you to download and read their
620,000 books online (for their usual fee) . This software is available for
Macs with Leopard or Snow Leopard, iPhones, iPads, PCs, BlackBerrys and
Android. There are also thousands of free books available. Their synching
technology allows you to bookmark your last page on your computer and open at
the same page on another device. Text size can be adjusted for your reading
comfort. All this with no Kindle required.
One caveat, there may be some non-US issues with some downloads.
