[muglo] Help!!

Suddenly when I try to delete messages in the Inbox of Mac Mail,
running Tiger 10.4.11, the messages are simply greyed out, but remain
in the Inbox. Previously they would simply disappear. Strange
behavior started yesterday. Any ideas?
