[muglo] HD backup movies

I am really confused. Carbon Copy Cloner didn't clone everything it
said it would. I disconnected my Seagate external HD and hooked up to
my laptop. I went to movies on the Seagate HD and all I have is
aliases, not the movies! I thought I would have new copies on the
backup. which is what I thought backing up was supposed to do, but it
looks like CCC made aliases of the movies and referenced them to the
original on the desktop HD! Is this what happened to my itunes? So
when I ditched those originals off the HD, it took aliases off my
backup? ...Doug
