A few rules on URLs: 1. Bracket them with <> i.e. <http://www.muglo.on.ca> You MUST include http:// in front of any URLs. Just typing <www.muglo.on.ca> is exactly the same as typing www.muglo.on.ca and may or may not work, depending on the mailer. <http://..> will work on most e-mailers (that support clicking on links). 2. Do not allow carriage returns or spaces to interrupt an URL. They signify a new URL. The only reason the URLs below work when clicked on is that the "partner=dailynews" is not mandatory. If it were, then you wouldn't be able to use the links. This is also the reason that <> is useful. Some e-mailers are smart enough to know that <http://muglo.on. ca> is actually the same as <http://muglo.on.ca> Eric. >From: Garth Phillips <eurogarth@xxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: muglo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: Org Muglo@Freelists. <muglo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >Subject: [muglo] Fwd: Forbes Daily Newsletter: Apple's Superfast >Supercomputer >Date: Tue, 26 Oct 2004 15:38:43 -0400 > >While i am trying to get friendly with Apple's own Mail program, I >still struggle with such crap as being unable to forward links so >anyone interested in the following article from Forbes, you'll have to >cut-and-paste. >Cheers, >Garth. > > > >---------------------------------------------- > * Apple's Superfast Supercomputer > * The Adventurer: Blowing Salt At Bonneville > * Awesome Aston > * Nurse, Where's My Foie Gras? > * Marsh's Cherkasky, Mr. Monitor, Failed Up > * VW's Future Is In The Future > >APPLE'S SUPERFAST SUPERCOMPUTER >Matthew HerperThe fastest computer in academia--made of servers > containing G5 chips--just got nearly 20% faster. >http://www.forbes.com/2004/10/26/cx_mh_1026aapl.html? >partner=daily_newsletter > > >THE ADVENTURER: BLOWING SALT AT BONNEVILLE >10.26.04, 12:01 AM ET > - James M.
