Here is some participation in response to your responses to my question
about being a member without receiving all of the emails.
Doug concisely answers the question without judgement.[This was helpful]

Barry, wants people to participate in the organization. Name calling
(LURKERS) is not the way to encourage people to do it.

Theresa gives her input as to how she manages her emails (read every email
but only keep those for future reference that bear some connection to my use
of Macs.)[This was helpful]

Dean?s evaluation seems to be that it (a member that does not want to
receive emails) is possible yet not beneficial to anyone. [This is
somewhat encouraging.]

Theresa raises the possibility that perhaps the question needs
clarification. [This made me wish to clarify my question]

Wayne seems to be answering someone else?s question. Then, after Douglas?s
cheer (Good rant!) he begins with the sarcasm (Duh)(the absurdity of this
question)[Wy would I want to respond to that?].

Theresa seems to want to know the basis for the question-not assuming that
she knows .

Gerhard joins in with the name callers (lurkers).

Wayne concludes by insulting me.(Did she sign up to get the free toaster?)

Wayne if my questions will be considered as being absurd, why would I
participate in your group? I didn?t even know that it was a ?forum?.

I think that I will wait awhile now, before asking another question, as my
inbox is getting kind of full. Hahaha
