What a horrible experience, unfortunately you will always get chancers in this
world, just not nice to cross them.

Hi all, earlier tonight Alex answered the door to a young man asking for
sponsorship for a cycle ride supporting the Princes Trust. He had a scruffy
photocopied sheet of paper with several names from neighbouring streets. He
was left at the door while Alex went to get money and I went to the hall to
sign the sheet and hand over the cash. I thought I saw him jump back out of
the hall as I came out of the kitchen but happened too quickly for me to
process.
Anyway to cut a long story short he took my handbag and my car key!!! I went
out to the road to look for him and saw him coming out of number 17. When I
asked him if he had taken my bag he handed it to me from behind his back and
kept on walking. My purse is missing still as is the car key. I have reported
this to the police and somebody from Thorn Drive had already contacted them
about a suspicious character at their door.
Just wondered if anyone had any more information and to warn you about this
