Thx for the help, it looks like the autodisconnect option worked. I have
stayed connected for three days without a problem so that's a good sign.

I have a win2000 domain (active directory) server and i connect with an
XP Pro workstation. I REGULARLY lose my network shares and printers
necessitating a reboot to get them back. I can still ping all
workstations when I lose them so the physical connection is there. Any
suggestions as to why I lose them?=20 =20
