Hi, Joe and other XP users.
I think I may have found my WMP song database.
I discovered it in: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local
Settings\ApplicationData\Microsoft\MediaPlayer and it is named:
CurrentDatabase_59R. Windows Media Library. It is 9.43 mb which sounds pretty
big to me for a database, but I do have a lot of CDs catalogued.
When I found it last night I noted the size, then catalogued another CD. The
size of the database had increased and "Properties" said it had just been
modified. I suppose I could Rename or move it... just to be sure?
There is another file in this folder named: WMPfolders Windows Media Library.
This file is only 20 kb and "Properties" said it was also modified at the same
time as the other one.
