Have you tried using the -BMSD flag when you create your Sysprep config
file. I have been able to take an image developed on a PII 400 Gateway
workstation and put it on a Dell OptiPlex PIII 2.4 GHz machine without
the the blue screen.

To answer your question (in our arena), we have a Campus Agreement with
M$=20
that includes getting us one campus key code thus activation is not=20
required in the same fashion.
