Maybe you have WordPerfect key shortcuts turned on? I don't know if that
would do it, but it could be the culprit. Go to Tools>Options and see if
"navigation keys for wordperfect users" is checked...if so, uncheck that.
Is that it?

I double checked - rebooting did not help and my ctrl keys are not stuck?!
Any other suggestions out there?
I can use the increase/decrease indent keys, but that is not nearly as handy
as the tab key Susan
