[mso] Re: opening an email 'saved as' in html format

Thanks for all the replies.
Firefox is the default browser. Clicking on the saved file name returns the
following error message box.
Error box header bar lists the path and file name. Inside the box, "There is
a problem sending the command to the program." Without quotes.

Right click on the file name and selecting "open with" than IE Ver. 8 I get
the following response.
The document does open but shows a yellow warning bar indicating an active X
blocked notice. No change is noticed if Active X is allowed to run.

Since Firefox does not support Active X, it appears that is the problem.

How are you trying to open it in Firefox?  Try typing Files://c: whatever
path to the file is /mymessage.html in the address bar.

If Firefox is your default browser what happens when you double click the
html file?
