If all else fails, try closing Word, search for all instances of NORMAL.DOT and
delete them all. Then restart Word.
If that doesn't work, you could try uninstalling and re-installing Word.

Dear All:
Whenever I open a Document the WINDOW is split. I have to WINDOW > REMOVE
SPLIT. I have tried all settings in VIEW & WINDOW but without any luck. This
was not the case earlier but I think that while trying some experiment my
settings got altered. How do I get back to the default i.e. NO SPLIT IN THE
WINDOW ?.
