John is correct Gene - using OL2003's new PST format (unicode, and much more
robust), means that OL2002 and earlier cannot read that PST.

But if you upgrade, OL2003 defaults to using the existing PST, which remains
in the old format, unless you specifically upgrade it to the Unicode format.
