You've stumbled across the Great Lie. Here are some usable assertions to
help you live with it<g>:

-Computers absolutely do not save time for the average worker
-Education is most painful and least affordable if you have to learn a
lesson a second time
-The computer won't be a mature tool until folks don't have to get a second
degree in Computer Science in order to use a machine successfully
-Marketers avoid telling you about the dark holes in their software
products...therefore, don't trust software marketers
-Programmers haven't all the answers yet either
