Just one final point I missed, relating to Step 6:
6. Now do an advanced filter on columns A and B. Leave the 'criteria'
field empty, but check the box for 'unique records only. Select the
'copy to another location' radio button and in the 'copy to' field
enter: "D:E" (without quotes.)
BEFORE you do the advanced filter, you'll need to insert a new row right
at the top of the worksheet and enter column headings like PHRASE and
NUMBER (in caps). Advanced filter won't work if it can't detect column
headings.
