Norman,

I think what you need here is some hyperlinks. In a cell, hit CTRL+K to
get he hyperlinks dialog and you'll find that you can link not only to
websites, but also to other files on your PC AND to other places in your
current workbook.

If you use multi-sheet workbooks a lot, you might want to download my
free Excel add-in which automates hyperlinking. It's here:

Subject: [mso] creating a drop down menu

Hello Experts

I have a workbook with about 20 worksheets and
growing.
I have one DATASHEET that all the other worksheets
read from. Each worksheet is for an individual
customer.

I wish to create a drop down menu, on a front page incorporating all of
the customers listed with a link to call up whichever customer worksheet
I need at any time.

I must be using the wrong phraseology as I am unable
to locate this in the help files, but I know the best
help comes from the group.

Many thanks in advance
