[mso] cannot find file error in Excel (looking for component?)

Please help. What is causing this error message? I can open this file that is
on a CD from another workstation/computer but not from mine, trying from both
CD drives on my computer. I don't have a clue about where to start problem
solving. I rebooted so I had a fresh start. No help. "Cannot find the file
'E:\excel...etc\file.xls'(or one of its components). Make sure the path and
filename are correct and that all requeired libraries are available."Laraine
