[mso] Word 2003 question re scanning

I am scanning photos to be used in a Word document. The scanner is Epson
3170 photo. One photo that I did has handles when I open in Word and one
doesn't (which makes it very hard to move them). I can't figure out what I
might have done differently. Help is greatly appreciated, and I will call
the Epson support line as well if I have to. Many thanks, Sandy
