Hi Jonathan
If you go to File>New ... it brings up (on my system at least) on the right
hand side the New Document Taskpane. You can also click on View> Taskpane
and then click through to New Documents. It then gives me the option to
choose from the 4 most recently used Itemplates, but nowhere can I set it to
show more than 4.

I beg to differ with the Help files but it doesn't seem to matter WHERE the
templates are located, the last 4 used will always show up in this
location. But because I have to store some of my templates in different
folders it is proving a real nuisance to have to go through Templates> On My
Computer as it's a constant multi-click through to a variety of locations.
That was what I was trying to short circuit.
