Hi all Various things have been updated and many work stations re-installed with WinXP (off-topic!) and Office 2003 at various times in the past year on our college network so I can't pinpoint anything specific, but I have recently found that when students close down Word, correctly and whether or not making a final Save at the closedown prompt, the 1KB and a varying size but starting around the standard Normal.dot 19KB (both usually but not always hidden) and a whole shower of TMP files (presumably the AutoSave background files, and again often but not always hidden) are not being deleted. Anyone with ideas about whether this is a glitch, or a setting somewhere? It's taking up 100's of MB of server space on a daily basis.
