Dear All, I'm trying to set up a mail merge in Word 2000 and wish to add some "intelligence" into the output, comprising the following: 1) Can I use an "If...then...else" function with wildcards, for example, to identify fields where the first two characters are "IN"? 2) Can I use the result of the above to determine whether another field in that mail merge record is displayed or hidden? Any help or guidance provided would be appreciated!
