[mso] Spelling and grammar check under Windows XP, Word 2000

Dear all,
After changing under Windows XP from Word 2002 to Word 2000, the spell check
into Dutch does not function and Word sends an error message after which it
closes down.
English checking does OK.
Patches from Microsoft haven't helped me out.
A suggestion as to how to get it started again would be most appreciated.
