To All, I have created a query in Access 2002 which selects some records and sorts them according to the contents in two separate columns. IOW, the query creates a subset of the DB with "member name" sorted within "area of interest". Suppose I want the opposite sort sequence with "area of interest" within "member name"? It appears that the term "sort order" in the Help system refers only to ascending versus descending. In my case both columns are sorted ascending. The existing query has the "area of interest" column to the left of the "member name" column. Is there any way to achieve the opposite sort sequence without moving the "member name" column to the left of the "area of interest" column? Help mentions an Advanced Sort window, but it appears to apply only to filters and datasets. I didn't see any way to open an Advanced Sort window within the query design view. Thanks for the help.
