[mso] Re: Signitures in specific mails

If you are using separate email accounts, this is very easy. You can
choose between setting a message rule to apply a signature to outgoing
emails on the account in question or using a template for each account
which already has the signature included. The problem with the latter
is that it won't work for replies and forwards, so you would still need
to insert the signature *by hand* as it were.

The simplest option is to create the signature but not have it applied
automatically to outgoing messages - only insert it on those messages
you want to send it with.

Subject: [mso] Signitures in specific mails

Hi All,

Just wondered if there was a way to have a signiture in only certain =
mails. I mean for instance to have my signiture on my work emails only =
while my personal mails didn't have it. I'm using outlook 2002.

Thank you for any help on this one.

Paul.

Subject: [mso] New list TestingoutlookXP - Was - RE: Re: Hours Minutes =
Seconds??

I tripped the wire at Freelists when I tried to send this the first =
time. Let's see if I got it right now.

I love how a plan comes together, Linda. And, as a convenience to every
= subscriber at Freelists, the fine folks at Freelists.org have granted
me = a group expressly to allow people to test their Outlook settings. I
= know, I know, why in the heck would they waste bandwidth this way?
Well, = I gave them a good answer, I guess.<g> The fact is, I don't
really want = to run a list but it seems that everyone who decides to
take care of = '=3D20' will need a place to work out the kinks. And here
we have one.

Currently, I have it set to moderated and have yet to parse the =
documentation adequately, else I would have told you all before now. But
= if you'd like to follow those guidelines below, you can test your
output = without fear of annoying your listmates by sending to =
testingoutlookxp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx I kid you not.

- Users can subscribe to the list by sending email to =
'testingoutlookxp-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' with 'subscribe' in the Subject
= field OR by logging into the Web interface at www.freelists.org

- If you choose to not receive a copy of every post when you subscribe =
(and why would you?), you can examine the digests at =
//www.freelists.org/archives/testingoutlookxp

This list is a playground of sorts but the play should be strictly =
confined to getting your email program to behave civilly. You, on the =
other hand, are expected to require no such training.

So let's thank the fine folks at freelists for allowing us to post =
freely and get our gear in shape. Pretty darned cool of them, I think.

I look forward to seeing your clean posts in MSO in the future!
