Hi Guys/Gals, A team in our company works to tight SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Tasks are passed amongst multiple groups but remain under the ownership of this team. They have devised a system that when a task arrives for them, any one of them can grab the task and create a calendar meeting for the whole team for an hour before the SLA is due to breach, so the whole team will get a reminder to chase the group currently assigned the task to get their act into gear and fix the issue before it breaches. 1. Does anyone know simple software to achieve this task outside of Outlook. It just needs to be very simple to add a reminder and make it pop up uon multiple specified systems at the appropriate time. It also needs to be capable of being automated as I need them to just copy and paste the request id and I'll automate getting the rest of the info needed from the task management system (Remedy for those who know the system). 2. Alternatively, if we stick with their current manual process using Outlook (and they run Outlook 2003 off an Exchange server as a matter of course), can we automate the receiving of a meeting request, by a rule or VBA code, so they don't have to "accept" the meeting. 3. Is there an alternative in Outlook to send a "Reminder" to multiple users so that an appointed time it will pop up on their screen? Hope that's clear. Regards, John. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu at the top.
