We have had files "go missing".  As they were on the server, they did
not end in the recycle bin but I have had some success recovering them
PC Inspector (http://www.pcinspector.de/) but we want this to NOT
happen.  The recovery program indicated that the files had been
deleted, hence this question about how I should make the files
un-deletable.

I am looking for protection from 'accidental' deletion rather than
ensuring that nothing is overwritten/renamed etc...

You say that "All this is possible...", what do you suggest I do then?
