Ah; a reinstall of the software's cured the problem - should have done that
first (DOH!). I just assumed that as it was working perfectly everywhere
else, and it was like that with more than one configuration it must be
something to do with the VBE.

Yeah...when I installed the Office keyboard software...it trashed my mouse
buttons (the two extra ones)...so I still have to wrestle with that to get
the keys working the way I like them to work!<sigh>

There ARE times when it won't work in the Word VBE on the lappie, but that
one gets flakey sometimes when I do too much anyway...so I'm assuming it's
the mouse on that system versus anything to do with the VBE as it also stops
in Word and Dreamweaver at times.

The Intellimouse software is pretty flaky at times and it has always had
some quirk or another ever since I bought my first MS Mouse in 94. Have you
installed the latest version of Intellimouse?
