Well, I couldn't find anything specific to riched.dll and recurring appts,
so I'm sorry to tell you the only thing I can recommend is reinstalling
Outlook 98 (or upgrading to a version of Outlook that actually works...no
offense, but Outlook has come so far since 98)
Or...if you want to try this, you can search your hard drive for riched.dll
and rename it, then download another copy of riched.dll from this site and
put it where the other one was...if it doesn't fix the problem, you can just
delete the one you downloaded and name the old one back to riched.dll ... I
don't see any harm in trying this..tho I have no clue if it will fix your
problem...good luck tho

Yes, the message details say that there is a problem in RICHED.dll.
Does that clarify anything to you?
