Right, James..I know all this...I always zip exe files or change the
extension if people don't know how to open zip files , when I SEND them...my
ebooks are exes and I know to do this when I send them...however, there is
no way for me to tell companies to do this when they send me files, since I
don't even know beforehand who these companies are.

All I want is a way to get Outlook 2003 to let me know a file was stripped
from an email...I do NOT object to the attachment being stripped...what I
object to is the fact that the email never even came to me....and THAT'S
what I want to change....so I can reply to these people and tell them to
resend it in another format.

Please note my other message where we discussed body language in email...my
CAPS are strictly for emphasis..I am not shouting LOL
