I have just seen the future and I don't like it. Was helping a friend upgrade to Word 2007 from Office XP and we couldn't get the compatibility mode to work consistently. Some of the templates opened in 2007 ok, some created new docs in 2007 ok. Others just failed to do anything other than bring up lots of squares like a sinister game of battleships. It's not an option for them to work solely in 2007 as the rest of their users are on the old version and will want to stay there! I'm hoping that by migrating the templates via my machine which runs Office 2003 I may be able to sort the issue out - or am I mistaken? It has been the worst thing I've seen in ages - and I won't be convinced otherwise! LOL No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
