Glad to hear it helped, Peter.

And yes, I've found that Clear Type is MUCH easier to my eyes. Sadly, a
computer WILL damage your eyes over time. I've discovered THAT the hard way.
For most of my life I had perfect vision. Granted...age doesn't help. But
I've been working on these things for about 18 yrs now and needed glasses
for near-sightedness after about 6 yrs of sitting MUCH too close as a
graphic designer.

If you can sit further away from the screen, it'll help. Just like mom used
to tell us when we sat on the floor with our faces up against the TV!<g>

(Oh, and work hard to NOT lean on your wrists when you type and mouse, so
you don't put undue pressure on the nerves/veins in your wrists so you don't
get THAT damage.)

Cheers!

Dian ~

Hi Dian,, OH Thank you. "Clear Type" looks like (to me) that it simply =
toned down the sharpness of everything, thus a lot easier on the eyes. =
I've been getting headaches working on my new computer for many hours at = a
time. I think my vision is damaged as a result. I'm having double = vision
problems when I look UP and to the RIGHT. It could be all in my = head,, but
then again,,,, so are my eyes:). Nice work on the mouse = tracks article.
Your intelligentsia is extremely attractive.

Thanks, my eyes feel better already.
