I have a two-fold problem Linda. SPAM in Outlook and Popups in IE.
When I was talking third party, I was referencing your response re Spam
Inspector as in ..."I use Spam Inspector, Glenda and it really does a
great job...I get about 400 spams A DAY....and it works as an addin
inside Outlook and it works great. (also works with Incredimail, Eudora,
OE, etc...but that would be OT
LOL)" I then continued by commenting (OT) that I am having an incredibly
bad day with IE popups as well.

Read my review of it here and maybe download a free demo copy and see
how you like it: http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/spami.htm

I'm confused, Glenda..."going third party for Outlook" won't get rid of
popups...popups are coming from Internet Explorer and have nothing to do
with Outlook.

Like Greg said...sounds like you may have some spyware on your
computer....or maybe you are using Windows XP and have the ol'
"messenger popup" syndrome? If so, read this:
http://personal-computer-tutor.com/abc3/v27/linda27.htm

But let's get back to Office here...SPAM in Outlook is
on-topic....popups and spyware in IE is not :-)

I'm definitely going to have to go third party for Outlook. My biggest
problem today seems to be pop-up ads in IE. It's never been this bad
before. Several times today, I've had to close an entire group of IE
just to get clear. As soon as I open a browser window, I get at least 3
almost immediately. I've deleted cookies, added to restricted sites.
Nothing seems to help. I'm REALLY frustrated. /g
