[mso] Not wanted picture in Document

Not wanted picture in Document
Hope someone can make some sense of the following
The pic shows up every time I open Words (2000), in Doc. 1,
if I delete it from Doc 1 it pops up on Doc 2 and if I click for a new Doc
same thing , when I want to write ,I have to delete the pic (text) in Doc 1
do my work and then save as
I scanned a newspaper clipping sent it to My Pictures folder.
Wanted to use Words to edit the e-mail.
Insert + Picture + From File
Done this a number of times never had any problems.
I have deleted the scan in every folder where I could find it, to no avail
Any suggestions ?
