Thanks Vic.  All the explanations have helped.  But, didn't you tell me
you saw something that said this script warning affected some Office
programs too?  Or is this just another case of my memory failing.

Sure wish I could install RAM in my head as easily as I can in my
computer LOL

Well...off to school now...final exams week here, so I gotta go be a
tyrant *wink*

VBA is not blocked - it's actually just a specialized VB which is code,
not
scripting.
Also, it  is just a malicious script alert that comes up. The user is
given
the option to authorize the script.   And it doesn't alert you to all
vbs
scripts.  It can distinguish between known harmless ones and ones that
have
potential to do harm.
ie  - a vbs script message box would not bring up a warning, but a vbs
script to execute a file would.
