I cannot get one that works

Do I type ">=800 and <=750"   Without the ""

Assuming you want it between - and including - 750 and 800 then you need >= 
and <= respectively.

There is also a "between" keyword in SQL, although it mightn't be available 
in the query you're creating.

What do you mean by "... but that does not work"?  What exactly does it do 
for specific test values of the score field.  (I take it that "score" is a 
field in the record?)
