Are you saying that it's just THIS document that is causing the
problems? And you have the words selected, right?

If the two above questions are true, then it could be some left-over,
but I'm not sure what?

If anyone has an idea, feel free to jump in.

If you want, you can send me the doc to check out.

Dian and Others here is a new thing for me!

My wife and I are indexing a new rather large document? Which should be
no problem we have did this with several documents!

But:

When you go to index, Click index/ mark entry and click the words are
not in the window and you can not do anything? So click CLOSE and start
over, The words are there and you can go on! Nothing displays the first
time!

It doesn't seem to be in just one computer as we have tried it in three
different
one's. One has Small Business 2000 one Office 2000 and one Office
2002 2k2

It's a document that was formatted, Says its for Word? and we save them
off as a text document then bring them back to word to remove any
formatting that we don't want. Format it as wanted. Could this be
caused by some format that is left over?

If so anyone have any Ideas

Thanks Much.
