I asked about this when I got my new computer around xmas time because I wanted to start with outlook and keep my old posts in oe... however I had to swap back because outlook will open preview in every folder and I have a LOT... in oe it will globally close... in discussion Linda said that something must be corrupted because she could globally close.. (this is what I remember).... So I've not got around to reading the posts again and figuring this out.. but from what I remember it's possible to do... now we all have different systems.. mine is win98se... so it might just depend on what kind of outlook version and os you have? As far as I'm concerned the new computer is the direct result of previewing a mail--got a virus in it's first few hours... at that time not opening them and just previewing was safe... once bitten!!! now it's being said that closing preview globally in outlook is NOT possible? Can a add-on or whatever be written to do this? if so does anyone know of one? I'd like to be able to use Outlook... with a global shut down of preview:) Tina AccessFP - FrontPage Resource Centre Site - http://www.accessfp.net/ Journal - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AccessFPJournal Ezine & Forums - http://anyfrontpage.com/ FREE FP E-Books Tina's FrontPage News http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/ByAuthor.htm#tina ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=unsubscribe Or, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu.
