Hi Frank, I hate to know that someone is frustrated with any features of a PC or a program. I suffer from frustrations all the time :):) As far as controlling the Page Number on the first page of a document in Word 2007, here is what you do. In the document where you are trying to eliminate the page number on the first page, double click in the footer or the header area where the page number is. This will automatically switch you to the Design ribbon or tab on the top of the screen. The first item on the Design tab says: "Different First Page". Make sure to put a check mark in the box next to Different Design Page. That is all there is to it in Word 2007. I just tried it and it worked, may be you can give it another try or perhaps try it on a different document ! Just trying to help Best Regards, Abed ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu at the top.
