Hi Linda,

I though we went all thought this before. I thought I remembered =
seeing several posts on this same subject.

Something seems to be overriding the setting in the address book. I have =
this list SET to "plain text", but when I compose a new message, it =
always reverts to HTML.

Now,,, when I REPLY to a post on this list, I always GET the plain text =
format, and of course, I DON'T get the =3D and the =3D20.

What should I do now?

Just a note to all....since this thread includes posts by Diane and
Peter and both of them have written to me privately so I know they both
use html stationery which includes backgrounds...you can scroll down and
see what freelists does with this when it converts it to plain
text....see all of Peter's "=3D" and "=3D20" marks and the "Blank" that
always comes in at the beginning of Diane's email...I'm assuming the =
"=3D"
must have something to do with the graphic Peter uses for his background
and the "Blank" must be caused by the color Diane uses for hers...since
I also use html mail by default, but I don't use a color or graphic for
my background and my mail *seems* to come thru clean

If either of you have this list in your address book, do you know there
is a place you can check in the address book that tells Outlook 2000 to
send your email to this address as plain text?=20

Not that it bothers me, but just thought you might like to know, FYI.
(unless you are using OE, of course, then I don't know how to fix
it)....I also noticed that this checkbox has been removed from the
address book in Outlook 2002...does anyone using Outlook 2002 know where
you can configure your contacts individually to be sent mail in plain
text only? Or has Microsoft removed this feature altogether....and if
so, I wonder why?

Hi Diane,

May I suggest that you keep a copy of ALL sent mail at least for a =
=3D
little while, unless of course you have a specific / serious reason for
=3D
deleting them.=3D20

(I dono WHERE I'd be without copies of what I send out)

Subject: [mso] Saving Sent Mail Options in Outlook 2000

BlankHi,

Is there a way in Outlook 2000 to be prompted for whether or not you =3D
wish to
save an email when you send one? I see the options for saving or not =
=3D
saving
sent mail and where to save them, but not one to be asked with each
individual email as I can do in Lotus Notes.

Thanks for any help.

Diane
