Hey gang. Is there any way to make a field required in a Word form or to make sure people enter a certain value? (kinda like data validation in Excel) A student of mine wants to know if this is possible ... And I really don't want to get into VBA with her, so if it requires VBA, forget it. But if there's a way to do it by recording a macro or using any of Word's built-in utilities, can someone point me in the right direction? I looked around in the field properties and couldn't find it, but I could be missing something, since I don't do a lot with Word forms. If not, I'll just tell her to use Excel and data validation.
