That's because thanks to Microsoft, the distinction is blurring. Microsoft's
philosophy seems to be that one app can do it all.

I am just curious as to why "most people" use a spreadsheet when they
actually need a database?

I am not saying this is the case here, but I see this all too often.

I guess this happens because "most people" don't know the difference between
the two.
