[mso] Excel 2000 matching up rows and columns

I have two spreadsheets with names. One has the names I need (about 75),
the other has the names I need plus others (about 150). I want to pull
the value out of one column from the spreadsheet with 150 names and use it
in the other spreadsheet with 75 names. The additional names and values
are of no use. I don't know if it would be easier to edit the long sheet
manually to match the short sheet then copy and paste, or if there is an
easier way to accomplish this.
Thanks for you input and your help in the past.
Don
