Don,

The best thing to do would be to copy the module to your Personal Macros
Workbook. You could then just type the function straight into any cell
on any workbook, just like you would SUM, COUNT, or any other function.
It only becomes a problem if you want to share the sheet with other
users, when you'd need to copy the module to the workbook itself.

Yes you are correct and it is written to perform specific calculations.
I
understand now why you are questioning this and it is probably why what
I
am asking is not available, but I must semi-duplicate the spreadsheet on
a
regular basis so the formula must be entered on a regular basis also, as

the spreadsheet changes the size of the sheet changes ever so slightly
so
the formula must be entered in different columns. So I go to paste
function, user defined, and highlight my custom function.

The only reason why I ask is I have created special toolbars for
spreadsheets so most operations can be done in a single click. This one

probably won't.

Thanks
Don
Ps. Sorry if this turned into a double post as my trigger finger
malfunctioned.
Thanks Again
Don

If it's a function, then it belongs in a cell performing calculations. A
function can only work in this way, since it doesn't actually do
anything other than calculate a value.

Can you tell us a little more about what this custom function does?

It is a "Function" that is in a separate module of the VB Editor. It
shows up under "Paste Function" not "Macros", I have made my own VB
Macro
Toolbar, but when I use the same techinque for the "Custom Function" it
doesn't show up (it seems because it is a "Function") It isn't a big
deal
as it would just save a few mouse clicks, but It just seemed to make
sense
that there must be a way. Who knows!
Thanks

Don,

Do you mean you've created a macro?

If so, this page shows you how to put it on a menu or toolbar.

I have a custom function in Paste Function. I have searched hi and lo

cannot seem to find a way to put that function on its own tool bar
button,
is this possible?
Thanks
Don
