I know what you mean about both being open. I do that all the time and use 
alt tab to switch back and forth. In this instance PP is only opening one 
file. There is only one PP tab on the task bar and when I click on it I do 
not get a choice of more than one file to open. There must be some odd 
setting somewhere that I am missing.
