No problem. Where incomplete questions are asked, multiple answers can be expected. Also the memory stick size was not stated. Memory sticks are often referred to as system memory, and IF that was intended rather than a USB version often referred to as a thumb drive than a piece of software to create a RAM Drive would need to be utilized and the install would be valid only until the computer is rebooted. The simple and definitive solution is to attempt the install. No damage can be expected if the desired results are not achieved. -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of James S. The question was not if Office on a memory stick could be run on any computer. Rather can the program be installed on a memory stick. I say yes it can, but will only run on the Windows system that the registry files will match the install. =========================== Correct. My error. I thought the original motivation to the original question, the question behind the question, if you will, was whether a memory stick could be used to allow the programs to be run on different computers. I was wrong. James S.
