Vickie, thanks for all the news about Sue.
It sounds like she made the right decision, waiting for six months to be tested
again.

Subject: [msb-alumni] Re: Update on Sue Neumann
I spoke with Sue today. She said that it was a good thing they did the surgery
when they did. Her tumor was starting to breach the wall of her uterus.
However, since they took and tested the lymph node next to her uterus, and
found it to be benign, she is right now cancer free. Sue said the oncologist
gave her the choice to either have radiation now, to prevent any more cancer,
or wait six months, then be tested again to see if she is still cancer free.
She chose to wait six months. The doctor agreed it was the best choice. So,
she is healing. She contracted a urinary tract infection from having the
catheter in, so she is being medicated for that as well. She said she stayed
with her niece until this past Sunday, and then returned home. She says she
looks like someone beat her up, but we all expected that. She hasn’t been on
facebook, or email since her surgery, but thanked all who showed concern and
prayed for her surgery and recovery. She said she has to move again, back into
the apartments for one person, in October. So we discussed that and I
encouraged her not to participate. She says she has 3 strong men to help her
move, and they want her just to supervise. So that’s good. So, that’s about
all we talked about, other than her sister Amy who is in the nursing home
still. That’s why she has to move. The apartment complex she lives in, is
subsidized, and requires that one person living in a two bedroom apartment, has
to move back into a one bedroom.
