Dear Vickie, (Little Sis),

I am sorry to learn this about Tony. I can honestly empathize, for I had Pericarditis in 1992, for which I was hospitalized over a 3-week period. None of the medications helped to dissolve the fluid, as they all made me terribly nauseous, even causing migraines; thus an incision was made in my chest so the cardiologists could drain off the fluid, even going 1 step further in taking a piece of the heart sac for analyzation, making sure it wasn't diseased, which thankfully, it wasn't! During that time, I developed similar fluid on my left lung, the specialists having to do a Thoracentesis, draining off the fluid. Both of these health problems are extremely painful, having many causes: infections, injuries, etc. Tony is being remembered in Daryl's and my thoughts and prayers.
