Man, so sad to hear about that with your Mom, Lucy.
I think that was what did my Dad in. His was very painful.
They did put a screw in his, but he never made it out of the rehab facility.
When you get up around ninety, health becomes so fragile. Many things that
those of us who are younger can withstand, the very elderly can't. And, then,
of course, your Mom's is complicated by her lung condition.
