Bea,
Melody did live in Jackson for a few years. I know, because we talked on the
phone when she was living there.
I think she moved to Tennessee last year, or back in 2013.

Vickie,
No. Melody didn’t move back to Jackson. If she had, I would have known about
it. Her sister Nancy is part of my Lions Club, and while she doesn’t speak much
with either of her sisters, she would have told me if melody was living her.
Besides, she probably would be part of the Blind club here. I’m not a part of
it, because I’m involved with choir and worship team. Plus, they made it clear,
that while they would like me to be a part of it, I would be bored if I joined.
So, I never did. Loll.

OK. I spoke with Frances earlier this evening and she gave me permission to
tell y’all about Steve, finally. Steve had pneumonia. however, since he hates
to go to the doctor, the infection spread to his bloodstream, before he went to
the hospital. He’s been in ICU ever since, and now they’ve gotten the
pneumonia out of his lungs, but they’ve put him on dialysis to clean the blood.
Apparently, it was more times a day than one, because she said they’ve lowered
the dialysis treatments to only one a day. He’s off the ventilater for a
couple of hours a day, but still can’t talk. So she said it’s really hard for
him to communicate. Of course they have him on drugs, but once he indicated
that he thought the hospital was trying to kill him because of his feeling
while on the drugs. They are trying to ween him off those too. She did say,
however, that if he left the hospital, he would go to a rehabilitation
facility, and not home. So we all know what that means. She asked me some
questions about melody. So if any of you communicate with melody frequently,
please write me off list. She said that melody lives in tennessee. I didn’t
know that. The last I heard, she moved to Jackson, Michigan. So, she actually
knew more than I did about melody. So, that’s the scoop on Steve. So, we’ll
continue to pray for him, and hope that he can return home someday. Frances
did say that his heart is holding up really well so far. So that’s in his
favor. Take care all.
