I’d heard that as well. I was at NMU at that time and didn’t come back to
Kalamazoo until later that year.

On the weekends I went home and when my father didn't come get me, from
his job in Flint at Fisher Body, I mainly rode the old passenger trains! I
loved it! They were so cool to ride and the old depot in Lansing was neat too!
Three of our schoolmates often rode the train with me!
